SR. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER-EASTERN EUROPE at Velti
Location: AUSTRIA, POLAND, ROMANIA, HUNGARY, GREECE

Job Description

• Identify revenue opportunities in target Enterprise accounts, develop sales plans, and execute to close revenue
• Develop relationships with the Commercial divisions of Operators (CMO, CCO etc)
• Deliver annual sales revenues as defined in budgets and targets and the defined levels of margin
• Insure that Velti is generally perceived as a strategic underpinning within the Mobile Marketing arena
• While possessing executive-selling skill, build account relationships from senior to executive level
• Engage tactically in the business executive and staff level within divisional or departmental sales and marketing initiatives and establish and maintain strong relationships with industry peers and major corporate players
• Report accurately the revenue performance and status of sales activities
• Involve directly in high profile sales pitches and with tier one accounts plus market development at the highest level into target segments
• Suggest and execute major Sales and Marketing policies, programmes and objectives (both short and long term) to promote and ensure the company’s continuing success and growth
• Represent Velti at a senior level externally with clients and at conferences, exhibitions and trade shows as appropriate
• Allocate and manage capital within the parameters set by the executive management to support their strategy through budgets and other mechanisms
• Meet or exceed revenue quota objectives in assigned territory for products and services
Skills

• 5+ years of experience of working at Telecom Operators or at Consulting Services Companies for Operators
• Experience of selling to Network Operators across Eastern European Countries will be considered as a valuable asset
• Experience of proposing and executing strategic sales in solutions orientated and services environment
• Experience of strategic selling and large account sales
• Experience of new media and telecoms environment will be considered a plus
• Strong network of existing relationships with Operators- acquiring a mature and established contact database
• Proven understanding of the dynamics and mechanisms of mobile and online marketing.
• Strong communications and presentation skills- Ability to tailor/adjust presentation and content of solutions as appropriate to executive both business focused audiences and technical staff.
• Team Approach ability - working with corporate staff from multiple organizations (Customer Support, Product Management, Engineering, Exec.'s, etc.) in order to effectively maximize revenue and customer satisfaction within assigned accounts.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time and follow-through required to meet business plan and revenue goals within assigned accounts.
• Proven track record of winning profitable business in a dynamic, creative and or leading edge technology markets.
• Ability to gain insight into clients’ strategic business issues and strategies and provide services to assist in aiding value-added services while building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients
• Ability to translate clients’ business objectives into both marketing driven analyses and answers and strategic and financial planning
• Integrity, commitment to excel and positive attitude combined with energy and enthusiasm.
• Accustomed to working and travelling internationally
• Bachelor or similar degree required; technical degree in engineering (CS, EE, etc.) strongly preferred
• Master Degree in Marketing or Public Relationships or MBA will be considered as a plus
