Bronto Software, a leading Software as a Service ("SaaS") business in the email marketing space, is seeking an experienced Director, Account Management to lead Bronto's Account Management sales function. Account Management at Bronto serves as the business liaison to our customers and is responsible for renewing and expanding customer revenue.
We are seeking a sales oriented manager who thrives in a faced-paced environment and excels at strengthening customer relationships and identifying opportunities to map Bronto products and services to out customers' needs.
The Director, Account Management will oversee subscription revenue from over 800 Bronto customers and be responsible for bringing customer relationship and sales best practices to our expanding Account Management team. The success of Bronto's Account Management will be measured by maintaining (and raising) our strong customer retention rate while also optimizing our account expansion initiatives. The role reports directly to Bronto's COO.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Hire, train, mentor and motivate your Account Management team to successfully retain customers and grow revenue
* Institute SaaS sales best practices for cross-selling and up-selling into current accounts
* Conduct migration campaigns for future pricing and packaging changes
* Negotiate contract renewals and extensions
* Manage pipeline of renewal and expansion opportunities, responsible for all phases of the renewal sales cycle
* Collaborate with marketing to lift our customer marketing communications
* Build client references and develop customer success stories
* Provide timely pipeline forecasts and a quarterly strategic team plan to the Executive Team

Skills
Qualifications include:
* BS/BA degree with 5-10 years of experience in Sales and Account Management (renewals, up-sales, cross-sales, etc.)
* Experience leading/managing team
* Proven track record in meeting/exceeding sales and renewal targets
* Ability to manage multiple concurrent client relationships
* Experience with web-based software as a service (SaaS) application
* Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills - strong phone skills are required
* Proficiency with the Internet, MS Office, Salesforce.com, or related CRM applications
* Interest in working out of our Durham, NC headquarters
* Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship
