Job DescriptionAdvocating before government bodies, including the FCC, Congress, NTIA, the Department of State and other agencies, regulatory positions of the company. Drafting and reviewing pleadings and other documents for submission to the FCC and other government bodies. Representing SkyTerra at Trade Associations and other industry forums. Participating in international standard organizations, including the ITU and CITEL, to advance the company's positions. Advising internal clients on regulatory and policy issues. Monitor and analyze regulatory changes. Provide advice on compliance matters. Skills JD and bar admission required. Work experience: 4-7 years with a telecommunications background, with experience in wireless, satellite and/or international issues. Experience at the Federal Communications Commission, Congress or another federal agency desired, but not required.
